Shops
Shopping in Havana – and in much of Cuba – can be a bizarre experience so once more you need to take a deep breath, relax and take things as they come. Something as simple as buying bottled water can feel a struggle some days when all the shelves are empty - even though the next day it is easy when stocks are suddenly high. The huge flea market in old Havana is well worth a visit and there are some beautiful old shop fronts down the Calle Obispo. If you walk too far and want a cheap way back to your hotel try riding in an orange – they’re the garish local rickshaws and make a great photo opportunity.
